Presidents Message - 2017
Happy New Year! Well, we have come to the end of our first calendar year! Congratulations Waterloo-Wellington Woodturners! 2018 has been a great first year for the Waterloo-Wellington Woodturners Guild. Our membership numbers continue to increase as more people discover woodturning, and then discover us. 37 paid members and growing! WWG Meeting November 2017
We had our last meeting for the year on 23 November 2017 at the Waterloo Lee Valley store. Carl Durance informed us of the Bravery Beads Program for kids with cancer. The Bravery Bead Program allows children who wish to participate, the chance to collect a different bead for each procedure or event while visiting the hospital for treatment. The goal of the program is to make a necklace with colourful beads that represent the unique and special journey of a particular child an
